Brilliant aurora over Lake Superior both Friday and Saturday nights!  Didn't
hear a single EU station until Sunday!  Setup: new Yaesu FT-817, 5 watts QRP,
AC/Delco Voyager Marine/RV battery powered the rig without recharging for
the entire contest; MFJ 941E tuner, Hustler 4BTV Vertical ground mounted. 
Location: top of Brockway Mountain 720 ft. above Lake Superior, Keweenaw County,
MI.  Best DX:  Japan, New Zealand, Canary Islands (59 total DX  prefixes). First
time I have ever worked this contest in 38 years of hamming.  Lotsa fun!  Tnx
