Comments:

Between 3 niece's dance recitals that lasted 5 HOURS (yes, hours!) on Friday,
thunderstorms ALL weekend, an entire Saturday spent on tearing down, moving, and
reassebling a backyard swingset, more thunderstorms (did it rain on yall Don?),
I managed about 7 hours of operating time.

Finished assembling my own station about 2 weeks ago, and this is the first
contest from home, and its a lot different then W5WMU's, especially the time it
takes to rotate each time to go from Europe to VK-land and back. Stacked
antennas and SO2R (at W5WMU's) DO make a difference!! RF ate my lunch on 40,
hence NO contacts on what is usually my best or 2nd best band.

Highlites had to be working my first VK, almost got too excited! The JA pileups
were great, hope you guys didnt have to strain to hear me. Was great to work
KH6 on 80 and to run into Mike, Don and George for the first time since Dayton.

Home is a great place for small contests, but nothing compared to a contest
station. Mostly because the thought of bed is about 50 or so feet away, and O
so inviting at slow times.

Thanks to everyone for a great time. Thanks to Don for the Writelog setup,
comes in handy to not have to think 10 minutes before you start when you can
grab the configs and go.

Did I mention the thunderstorms?
