Comments:
Got off to a slow start. Tried to take a nap the 2nd night around 0630z...
but don't think that I actually slept.... just layed there with my eyes shut.
I went to 15m for the first time at 2110z... first QSO was N5RZ (FS ®).... and
in the next 60 minutes, 460 Qs went in the log. Ended the first day with
6149 Qs... thought 10,000 might be possible... but the 2nd day was painfully
slow!
Felt pretty good until Sunday around 1900z when I couldn't remember what it was
that I was doing... or where i was... or why I was repeating back these series
of letters and numbers back through this thing that was hanging in front of my
mouth while typing that same series of letters and numbers into this TV set
looking thing sitting in front of me that seemed to be moving around the room
and talking to me... or why people were yelling "what's your call"... and I'm
thinking "what are these people talking about.... call?".... then I'd remember
what I was doing and where I was.... and that I've gone for what seems to be 15
minutes without IDing... then when I did try to ID, I seemed to be everything
except Whiskey Papa Three Radio... I was everything from Whistkler Plooper Five
Zukly to Weeeeezer Peeeeeeter Three Reeeeetard..... and everything in
between.... everything except Whiskey Papa Three Radio. Sleep deprivation
sucks!
I felt great after the contest though.... felt like I could go another 12 hours
easily. Stayed up long enough to watch Alias!
