Whew, I am tired. The WPX has really turned into quite the rate
contest since the addition of getting points for working
your own country. And given the condtions this weekend
it sure is a good thing that most of my log is made up
of W/K contacts. Conditions were tough to europe - not
much worked in that direction compaired to what it is like
with more normal conditions.
I tended to lean to going for the high rate several times
during the weekend - at times when it might have been better
to go for high score - but what can I say - It is fun to run.
There were a few moments of good conditions hidden away
here and there during the weekend - usually on 20 meters.
The best opening seemed to be right at the end on sunday when
Japan was coming in quite well on 10 meters - too bad it had
to stop at 0z.
Congraulations to all the ops that had a great time this weekend
and also to those that stuck it out in some trying conditions.
