Comments:

condx sounded really good! but lotsa holes in wide open bands.
found a ragchewing TI2 right at the start, so first half hour never did get in
sync
after dragging his name etc out of him, my request for a "serial number" got me
his Grid Square sent several times.. ...first hour felt about 45 degrees
out of phase...
tried to stay on 20 as long as i could, and hit 40 finally to a madhouse
of loud sigs and easy pickins.. but it petered out quickly... went a bit
earlier than normal to 80...hoping to find W7UQ for IDAHO, and maybe
a VE6 VE7 MT... tuned across all the s7-9 sigs looking for BIG S meter
jumps, and there was Chris and BG... ding .. ding.. no VEs at all...
and there was a strange moment of hesitation between being able to work the
local mults, and being able
to work W6s and further east.... got beat out to CA quite a few times, and
just
before panic the band did open....about the last 25 minutes,
and was surprised to be able to work way back east... must have
been quiet for them to hear us...no lightening or storm noise.

bands as good as ive heard em in sprint...
thanks once again to host K7RI..
see y'all on ssb sprint...

as usual..(the 3 P's) paper, pencil, paddle...
SO1R, 2 band changes.
one of these years, gotta try doing it on a computer...old dogs and new
tricks..ya know..hahaha
