Just thought I'd get on the bands for a couple of hours but ended up doing most
of the contest. Amazing what can be done with a little IC-718 and a trap
vertical. This sure is a big difference from contesting back home  - and way
more fun.  Too bad I didn't have something on 160, but its the best I could do
for a temporary setup.

Just here in the USA for a short summer break and its really great to work so
many Stateside stations I don't normally hear (or only hear with weak, fluttery
signals).
