..what could happen if once every QSO would count only one QSO point in
CQWW independently of ones QTH? 

I think it would be much more fair. Because just a simple fact someone
lives somewhere (or has enough money to go somewhere) must not have led
him to be a number one... 
(Think it over a bit: e.g. 3000 QSOs from US or inside EU vs. 3000 QSOs
from nearby US - P4, J7 etc. - or nearby EU - TA, EA8 etc... Even if the
same skills, 'm sure NOW stns contesting nearby densely populated
continents do earn hundredthousands score more... And if low bands - Oh
God!)
