Comments:

Radio was an FT890 with a 40m and 20m dipole - both about 15' high.  It is
actually one dipole with clip leads and lots of running in and out to switch the
alligator clips.

I was on a holiday with wifey and brought the radio "just in case".  Was only
able to operate for a limited time with minimal antenna but it was very fine
indeed.  

Thanks to the Euros for the fine runs on 40m.
