Comments:
Bands really went long. So many guys around here I never even
worked once (like WE9V, N8VW). I barely worked K9NW. But I
worked plenty of W6's. :-)
20 was funny. A few guys, like K3NM, N3DXX and K1DG were just
booming in here. And the Oklahoma/Texas guys were weak. Strange.
Battled a strange intermittent on one radio that cut signal strength
on RX down by about 30 dB. Switching out the 500hz filter "fixed"
it. So I used the K3ZO filtering techinque on 40 meters about half
the time.
Those W4AN/N6TR scores make this thing look like men vs. boys! Nice
going.
This is the first time I have ever missed Michigan in a contest that
I can remember. Three Delawares, two Montanas and no Michigan?
