Wow! There have been a lot of good contest stories over the years, but this
may be the best ever. It's destined to become a classic. The picture of you
two rolling over snowdrifts was priceless. I think lady luck had very little
to do with it: it was the dogged persistence (mush!) of two contesters who
are deeply committed to our wonderful sport. My only suggestion would be to
park a couple of pairs of snowshoes with your neighbors -- they're simple to
use and will make that walk much easier and faster (though not enough to
carry a 781 and 2000A -- you'll need a dogsled for that!)
