Comments:

As usual for thie time in the cycle, it was difficult to listen to 
stations on the East Coast USA having huge runs into Europe, while 
on the West Coast the only signals that moved the meter much were 
those in southwestern Europe.  The most frustrating parts of this
contest were being unable to work 9N7BCC and FR1HZ.  The 9N had an
especially good signal, but was only working JAs.  It's a shame they
had so much problem with noise, especially after so much effort to
bring in equipment and antennas.  Before the contest we copied them
on 80 quite well at times, and very well on 40 through 15.  It made
me thankful that there was no power line noise here!
