Comments:

Our claimed score this year is almost the same as 2003, despite poorer
conditions and 200 less QSOs. Highlights were being called by ZS6 on 80m at our
sunrise, and by 5U5Z on 10m. Some good pileups at times on 40-10m, but 80 and
160 were disappointing overall. There were quite a few antenna problems in the
run-up to the contest and during the contest Brian ZL1AZE had to climb one of
the 21m wooden poles at ZL6QH to re-tighten one 330m leg of a Vee antenna which
had loosened and was touching another antenna - this caused considerable
inter-station QRM to 20m LP signals which lost us QSOs and mults until the
problem was sorted.

Thanks for working ZL6QH - happy Xmas and please work ZL6QH in major contests in
2005.

Please QSL via ZL2AOH and visit www.zl6qh.com and www.qsl.net/zl1v/zl6qh.htm to
see photos of the Quartz Hill contest station.

73 from Brian ZL1AZE, John ZL1BYZ, Tony ZL2AGY, Wilbert ZL2BSJ, Andrei ZL1TM and
Chris ZL1CT
