Club: Mother Lode DX and Contest Club (MLDXCC)

Comments:

Strictly a learning exercise this year. Learned a lot about SO2R despite
discovering that CQP from in state isn't the best contest to take advantage of
SO2R. The rates are often quite high which makes it tempting to relax and run.
Also, S&P is tough from CA because most of the out of state entrants aren't
CQ'ing and most of the in-state entrants are in my skip zone on the high bands.
But it's always fun to jog in the country's best state QSO party!
