Comments:

After working one European and one JA in the ARRL SSB DX Contest last spring I
never imagined working over 100 countries and 32 zones on 10 in CQWW SSB this
year! Unfinished antenna project meant I had to settle for a side mounted 40
meter beam fixed NE supplemented by a Butternut vertical. Mults/Q's on that band
suffered but the high bands almost made up for it. The new Steppir performed
very well. Claimed score down 3% from last year. 

Now can the propagation gods smile on us for the CW weekend?
