Comments:
One minute I was playing in the RTTY test, and the next I was trying to squeeze
my call in between big guns on CW. I waded in and out of the fray over the first
hour or so, and a little bit more, later on.
Band conditions were solid, (except 80, which was noisy) but it's hard to be
heard in the boiling cauldron, I guess, as I had a tough time picking up the
second "CQ" QSOs in any timely fashion.
This is a great contest, but it's also daunting (at least for a little whistle
to the north). Sorry if I have muffed up any of the QSO info -- I'm OK with high
speed when there's one good signal in the no-CW-filter passband, but not so good
with multiple signals ditting away at the same time. Gotta get the INRAD filters
for this FT920. There. I've said it again. This time I may act on it, hi.
Next time out, I'll have the yagi and tower up. Can hardly wait.
