After a serious illness and (fortunately) brief hospitalization made it
necessary to limit my WPX CW activity, I was looking forward to a big IARU
effort, but it wasn't to be.  Shortly before the contest there was a death in my
family and operating didn't seem important anymore.  I got on briefly a few
times to say hi to my friends and to remember happier times.
