Comments:

Got off to a good start Friday night, until the squirrel cage on the Alpha 89
blower came unglued a few hours into the contest!  I spent the balance of the
first night making a temporary repair and went to sleep with only 200 Qs in the
log.  Gave the Alpha another chance on Saturday and thankfully it held together
for the rest of the contest.  Thanks to the many Europeans who called on the
second night.  

Rig: Icom 7800, Alpha 89 (ailing!), inverted windom - apex at 65', and 500'
beverage NE.
