Comments:

Enjoyed this one a usual and really tried to spend as much time as
possible.....
target was 1000+ QSO's and 1M+ points so made it on the QSO count and did
achieve a personal best for this contest. Conditions were fair on Saturday and

a bit down from that on Sunday. Didn't opearte on Friday nite at all and
finally got on at midnite local time -- 0330Z on Sunday morning ....I guess i
have to decide if contesting is more important to me than bluegrass music!! It
was interesting to see the array of stations on from the Carib. and Central
America..At one point I saw cluster spots for three V31 stations with in a
couple of kcs of each other...easy pickins! I spent a lot of time trolling the
bands and picking off each and every run station.... and looking for the mults.
Got a couple of runs going ...on 80M and 20M. The 80M run surpirsed me because
my antenna is at the bottom of the feeding chain. Had a lot of fun. I have to
hand it to the guys who man these multi multi station and do the endless
CQ'ing...man what a chore... Writelog is finally starting to make sense to me
the more I use it. The band map is a fantastic feature!....Yagi is still stuck
in NE position and will not turn south or west at all. Thank god the F/B isn't
great !

Logs have been uploaded to LOTW and eQSl......

Rig: FT-1KMP + 4x572b's (not QSK or autotune) + Writelog
Ant: 160 Inv L; 80/40 trap dipole; 20/15/10 2el on each band on common boom
Tower: 18M crankup.

CU in the next one....73 Frank VO1HP
