Comments:

My first NAQP- probably misplayed the strategy for the off times. Wasted 20 min
trying to get something going on 10M- I think 10M was open better than 7 QSOs
would indicate, but no one was there. My 4 mults there were 8P, Ca, Az, and Ma-
nothing in between the coasts. Spent too much time on 15M for the QSO total
there; could not really generate a run there, although there seemed to be a lot
of activity. The only good thing about putting in the time on 15M was the mults
I got there. From the activity on the bands, this would have been a perfect
contest to do SO2R- I could have run on 20M and done S&P on 10/15 for the first
2 hours. Probably would have wound up with almost the same number of mults and
QSOs.

The strategy of off times- I probably should have worked an hour for 10/15, took
off time (too early for 20M to be good), then had more time for 40/80 at night.
That probably would have produced a better score.

Anyway, had fun and made my pre-contest goal of 500 QSOs and broke the old Ma
record if the UBNs don't get me.

Thanks to everyone for the fun day.

Dennis NB1B
