 Hi All:
From the land of the Alberta Clipper, where today it's -26 on the F scale and
all snow shovels are well worn; Greetings.
I just had to try for the MOJO that is so well known to be in small black
boxes that run 3 watts. It was a thrill to be running Q's with a little box that
comes with a new ARRL handbook all for 99 bux as a kit from Ten-Tec for xmas.
My son Michael (age 10) and I got a pair of 1320's/books from Santa, so what
better tryout than the NA. His is about a third done and mine was running on 20
(sorry I could'nt QSY; it's a monobander).
I even dropped on Scott in Tn for a quick Q/mult maybe and went on to others,
no time for a chat..Tons of first call Q's, TRLOG showed me a quick 95 for a
while for a big smile all round. Bencher in the right hand, MOJO in the middle
and TRLOG in the left with the ratemeter rising--does it get better than
this??
All I can say is that this little box ROCKS!!
   See you all for fone,
Dan Nancy and the KIDS, VE6EX..
