Comments:

This was a casual effort with a wire antenna 25 feet high and a battery powered
radio. This was similar to my 1E Field Day setup.

My condolences to those who were knocked out by the ice storm. Perhaps if this
happens again, you can put your emergency communication skills to use and still
have lots of fun.
