Comments:

First of all, fun contest. Great rates until 06Z. Excellent participation from
EU and NA (could have been JAs but never worked one). Disappointing that the
great condx of 48 hours earlier didn't hold. I knew it was going to be a lot
different when I heard no JAs at the start, period, on 20M short path.

I ran out of time trying to install new 80/160 antennas before the contest so my
80/160 was like using a wounded duck. Almost all of my 80 (and 160!) contacts
were using a dipole at 50 feet orientated E/W.

15M was a disappointment from here. Quick Qs on all of the HQ stations heard
but couldn't run....at all. 20M was great all day long. 40M was a pleasure
with my new EU beverage. Didn't once use the beam to listen until 05Z when I
started working west (I have added a west beverage to the summer's growing
antenna list!).

Best 1 hour rate was 105. Had 3 hours over 90 and saw peak rates of 140 - 160
numerous time on 20 and 40 CW.

Most of my SSB was S & P. Probably should have ran once on 20M for at least an
hour or so, in retrospect.

All in all, very happy. Nice score by N4PN with those power shutdowns to
contend with. Would have been a photo finish without those, OM!

73,

Ed N1UR
