Score: 1771 pts x 61 mults = 108031
The contest started with a good 40m opening to JA and the Pacific but band
conditions deteriorated between 1700z and 2100z. Fortunately the 20m opening
lasted well into our evening and by that time 40m had come back to provide 
several hours of strong domestic contacts. Every EU contact (on 20m) represented
a great deal of work -- the stations were strong but not able to hear much from
the west coast of NA. Such is life in the "black hole" of propagation. All in
all it was a good time on the bands with many pleasant contacts.
