Great fun going ALL OUT for 24 hours. I really like this contest,
even though I'm still falling short in points/QSO and multipliers.
Some great hours, and a few tough ones at the end. This was near
the best I could do from my relatively simple station consisting of
one tower, two tribanders, and three wires.

Lots of work before the contest, starting with cuting down a 40' tree
to free up a 160m vertical wire from the lower tribander; repairing
the resulting ring-rotator damage; replacing another chip in one of
the band decoders, and fixing up the antenna switching relay matrix.
The station really played great, and the new IC-781 (acquired at Dayton)
is simply the best contest radio that I've ever used. TR-Log 6.79 worked
great, as always.

I still have a ways to go to reach the Top Ten, but it's within sight.
If I could just find and work more of those HQ stations... And more
hardware, of course... yeah, that's my excuse... it's these #@%& Mosley

Great fun, and good ops. C U next time.
