Comments:
Better score this week, but only because I spent more time on 40. This was a
painful night, the QRN was almost unbearable here, but there were some really
high QSO numbers from out west (when N3BB gave me #50 I nearly fell out of my
chair). Was trying out my new Heil phones and SCAF filter; it is amazing how we
get used to a crappy stuff and have trouble adjusting to the good stuff. But it
will take time. Unfortunately, most signals on 20 were pretty weak here, so it
took some concentration to pull calls out of the QRN (I am not good at
concentrating).
The bands were LONG tonight, so why no activity on 80 M in the last 10 min? I
could use some mults. It was a blast, as always. Thanks for the Qs, and see you
next week to give out that all important Maryland mult.
