Saturday afternoon Es on 6 M to AZ, NM, TX, CA, ID and Washington State. WA7JTM
and W5SIX were in for hours. Severe thunderstorms all day Sunday prevented me
from going back to my operating site in the Flint Hills. A short break in the
severe weather occured Sunday evening and I was able to drive back out and set
up at 0015 UTC. I heard N0LL and KM0T on 2 M aurora, but they did not copy my 10
watts. The aurora was a real surprise.
