Comments:
During First night I was preffering 160 (always a lottery) + 40 (to make some
QSOs) with the idea 80 will do the next complete night - well... we all heard
how it was.
First day was 15m so good I could hardly imagine how it will fall down in
sunday; 768 versus 1 QSO. I was checking 10m all the time during saturday with
no result, I did not dare to check in sunday.
I had surprisingly lot of "5-banders" - forget 10m.:
AA4V, K0TV, K1RX, K1TTT, K2NV, K2OWE, K3LR, K4ZW, KB1H, KC1XX, N2LT, N3MX, N3RS,
N8TR, NB1B, NN3Q, NO2R, VO1MP, W0AIH, W1GD, W2RE, W3LPL, W4MYA, W4WTB, W5WMU,
WE3C.
It is 26 !!!! Quite unusual.
I would hardly believe it is possible to work USA with only 5W on 160m - K3BU
?!?! He was nicely audible - well not for a conversation, but no problem. From
the USA on 160m FAR the strongest was KT1V - he was "much" stronger than
KC1XX+K3LR+W3LPL ! He was even close to VE1ZZ+VY2ZM. i wonder if it is a QTH or
antennas ???
Thanks all for the QSO - we must get used to the fact that the scores are now
going to be lower from year to year - my case almost exactly 1 000 000 less.
73 !
Jiri
