HOUR 160 80 40 20 15 10 HR TOT CUM TOT
This Year was very interesting for our team...we had 3 newbeeies who joined us
and they did an outstanding job....we were very anxious to defend our M-M win
from last year...our score this year is a bit different from last years
score...10m, 15m and 20m were down from last years score, but the difference was
made up by some great performances on the low bands...we actually worked 6 EU's
on 160m, and had our score nearly double on 80m and 40m...thiw weekend we were
really handicapped by the local weather...it started storming Sat night about 10
pm and it went continuously until the end of the contest...some of the op's were
spending as much time on the internet tracking the storms...we issued
flashlights to each station in the event the power went out...and the noise
levels were out of sight...to the many stations that called and we were not able
to pick out...we are truly sorry...thanks for your understanding...there were
many hours that we could only work the loudest of stations...we are lucky we had
other antennas in the stacks that were not as affected as the top antennas...The
good things were that no equipment failures (second contest in a row), food was
good, and everyone had a great time....my hat's off to the great crew we had
this year, and the distances traveled by all...we look forward to defending our
title again next year...see you all then...de Rick
