Wow, that was rough!  The first period I seemed to be doing OK but absolutely
nothing on 10/15 and high QRN on 40/80 made the decison to go single/20 easy.
But the band ran out of steam at 0500 so folded up shop with 130 q's - not a
bad start I thought and could hardly sleep in anticipation of the "money"
period where I just knew all of Europe and Japan would point thier antennas at
WA.  Well, after 4 hours of battling horrible copy, at best very weak signals
from everywhere and no EU or JA, I gave in with only another 50 q's.  I didn't
expect anything from the 3rd period as it was 1am local and surly 20 would be
dead - wrong - quite a nice opening to asia but that was about it.  
 
  1000mp + Titan @ 500w + TH6dxx @ 29ft = hope for next year!
