Comments:

Just a part time effort. Had my son's basketball practice Friday night and a
game on Saturday afternoon and had to take both sons to the Monster Truck Show
Saturday night and XYL B-Day dinner Sunday evening. With all things considered
had a good weekend at the rig. Bands seemed to be in good shape. Missed most of
40 meters. Band went long early and no real great things happened there. 80 and
160 were good Friday night. Nice to hear Europe on 80 meters and the Caribean
and S.A. on 160. CU2A is BIG eveywhere. What a location they must have. Ran as
much as I could on 20 meters. Was very crowded, had to use the 250hz filter and
thak god for the roofing filter in my Mark V. Was nice to hear some Asia on 15,
and 20 meters. VR2BG and 9V1YC had good signals. The Ja's seemed stong but just
seemed to only be a few that made it into the midwest for me. Nice to be called
by so many sorry to 4Z5LU for having a brain delay and not getting the call the
first time. Thanks for coming back. Also thanks to all that called me and stuck
it out for the qso. Was neat to see the long path on VK7GN towards the end of
the contest. Of course missed having much 15 and 10 meters.

See you all this weekend on CQWW 160 SSB and NA QP RTTY.

Vry 73 Dave KT0R
