Comments:

Well, more points than last year but that was a surprise. There was Godzilla
class local power line noise for the entire contest period. The MFJ-1026 Noise
Canceller worked well enough so that S&P was feasible although on 80 and 160 it
was overwhelmed. Still, I enjoyed every minute of the struggle.

An amazing number of 005 watt stations were worked in spite of the noise and the
QRM. As others have remarked, one needed to be lucky enough to be listening at
the right time in the right direction on the right frequency to manage to catch
the momentary openings to some places.
