Comments:
A few dupes counted as QSOs, but not QSO points messing up the math on the
score. Congrats to KL9A on a fantastic effort from NK7U. Mt. Hood must be
blocking more signals than I thought.
Had to drop off the YF at the airport at 4:30 AM and went back to bed when I got
back home. Never imagined I would be able to sleep until three minutes before
the contest. Missed the first minute and I am sure this is why KL9A had more
than 200 QSOs on me.
Did learn something new. 40 meters was tough going with lots of rain static.
Was about to take a break when I tried my new array of Beverages and found them
to work FB on 40. Was nice being able to switch directions quickly when a W6 or
VE7 called in. I will probably use these on receive moving forward most of the
time in future contests.
Found 160 to be in really good shape for the last 4 hours of the contest. Did
put SM5EDX into the log - who I tuned by just as he was doing a QSB peak.
Thanks for the QSOs and moves. See you in the CQ160 as K7RAT and the CW Sprint
as N6TR.
