Comments:
Activity was great. I think others are learning how much fun the NAQPs are.
While everyone seems to be lamenting the condition of 10 meters, I really think
there's propagation there, but everyones listening and no one is transmitting.
At the beginning of the contest I worked W0UO in Texas, K3MM and VP5NA,
responding to CQs from the three. Also worked N3DXX, N9RV, N0AT, and K3CR, the
latter three after dark. While 160 was rather noisy, it wasn't nearly as bad as
it had been the previous two nights. Windstorm tore the 20M dipole I use for
SO2R down last week. Got it back up Friday, and the wind tore it back down at
some point last night, fortunately it happened after the band folded. Thanks for
the Qs!
