Comments:

First VHF-UHF contest ever... used my SteppIR at 72 ' and a
borrowed ICOM 706   at  100 watts...

I discovered that my neighbourhood is not friendly
to low noise , I had S 7 noise in almost every direction..
especially south and south-west towards the USA..
The noise blanker helped, but distorted every signal as well.

Conditions on Saturday were terrific, had lots of fun.
Next time will have a voice keyer tho'
Multiple qsos from VE4,5,6,7  but just too close to get
the VE2 , VE9 and VO1 guys...
