Getting my VHF station up and running here at retirement QTH on hilltop in
upstate SC EM85wb.  Put up 50' tower next to house in April and placed yagis
(5wl on 144, 5 el on 222, 13 wl on 432, 45 el loop yagi on 1296) on tower the
week before the test. The old 5 el CC for six remained on the temporary 38'
tower.  Thanks to W2BUW and N4BH for tower/antenna help.  Terrific six meter Es
on Friday, very good Es Saturday during test, very little Es Sunday and no tropo
or other enhancement.  Hope to have 902, 2304, and 3456 by August and get some
7/8ths hardline to most of the antennas by September.  Duke Energy has worked
very hard to correct the many line noise problems, but it's still very bad to
south and southwest.  It was great working so many old friends and seeing so
