Comments:

Not much going on early, though I was probably was in the 40 meter skip zone for
some of the state.  Things were a little better later.

A couple of years ago the WVQP fell on the same weekend as the June VHF QSO
Party.  I went down and did both - a nice combination of contests. I operated
WVQP while driving between mountaintop VHF locations, as well as the couple of
hours before the VHF test started. I'd highly recommend the WV guys consider
scheduling their party to coincide with the VHF contest in future years.
