Comments:

Station was an IC-703 at 5W to end-fed half wave verticals for 40, 20, 15, and
10. On 80m I fed the 40m EFHWA wire at the base against ground radials. Also
used a homebrew vertical for 40-10m. Never heard anything on 10m. 40, 20 and 15
seemed really good, but I had a lot of difficulty working stations this year,
and never was able to get a run going. This was quite different from years past.
EU was very loud, but I heard noticeably fewer US and VE stations than normal,
and they were generally weak. Repeats for many of my Q's indicated I was weak
too. Thinking I had some sort of station problem, I swapped out everything...
antennas, feedline, rigs. Even reoriented the vertical EFHWAs to horizontal,
thinking I may have a radiation angle problem. Nothing seemed to help. So I'd
work for 20-30 minutes and then QRT to other activities (primarily fishing)
hoping that things would improve later. They never did. I don't think it was a
station or location problem, as on Monday and Tuesday I had no problem running
EU and US/VE on 17m daytimes and on 40m at night using 10w and the vertical. So
I'm still perplexed as to what happened. I had hoped to make a good effort this
year and hopefully another Top 5 QRP showing, but it did not happen. However,
the fishing, the sun, the food, and the drinks were good!  Trip writeup can be
