Only worked one Russian station. Not a very good showing for a Russian contest.
Thank you RZ3AXX. I was hoping for a decent polar opening on Sunday morning but
signals were weak. Worked a few EU but not many. I could hear more stations than
I could work. Got a lot of "pls agn" replies. Surprisingly, I worked only one
JA. Where were the Asian guys? SA was open but very few heard and they were
loud. Tuned in on 15M several times and even called CQ for 10 minutes on Sunday
afternoon. Nary a signal heard. All in all, it was a great contest despite the
lousy propagation and I really appreciate the people who made an effort to pull
me out. Thanks for all the Q's and see you on again.
Rig Icom 756 (with the CRT lines)
Antennas, 5 Band hexbeam and 80M delta loop.
