It seemed like every QSO was a struggle.  I tried every trick in my limited
arsenal.  Couldn't crack many pileups on 20.  As usual, 40 was my best band. 
80 was terrible (for me).  For a while I thought no one was going to hear me,
even when I was the only caller.  I called the west coast guys over and over on
80 with no success.  How can that be when the night before I was working EU and
SA stations through some east coast pileups?

This one seemed longer than 4 hours to me!  Still a great contest, though.
