Comments:

I got on to hand out points for this one and I was surprised to run across
N2AA who was doing the same on 20m. We ended up yacking for 15 minutes
catching
up on stuff, then I rusumed operating for another 15 minutes. By this time the
QRN from the approaching cold front was really getting strong on 20 and 40m.
At 0155Z or so I heard loud sirens blaring and I rushed upstairs to see what
was going on. Then I went outside and noticed the continuous lightning from the
NW. I said cool! The sky really looked Gnarly and there was a tornado warning in
progress. A funnel cloud touched down 10 miles from here.
