Comments:
Day one was a walk in the park.  Great conditions except for the thunderstorms.
 Day 2 was another story.  The noise level rose to 
20 over S-9 on all bands here in Macon... could hear very little 
over the noise.  To the gentleman who sent me an email telling me 
to turn on my receiver, "Sir, you should have been on this end trying to
separate out all those signals!  Even with the 250Hz filter in line and the
notch filter, it was an exercise in futility at times. 
But I did manage a few contacts on day 2 before frustration set in and closed
me down.  One good thing resulted though.  The XYL commented, "Baby, what you
need is a good BEAM antenna!"  My reply was, "YA THINK?"  Oh, shades of my
earlier days in ham radio (what, with a TH6DXX at 50 ft)!!!
