Enjoyed my first WAE from DX-side very much, despite of some problems.

A long power cut on saturday morning did make my time-table meaningless. When
really starting the contest at 1124z, almost my complete rest periodes were
done.
The remaining time on saturday 15m has been terrible, 20m to 80m was doing
well. Forget about 10m.

After a slow start on sunday I was pleased by very strong signals on 15m. Only
one ZS... station dimmed my luck with his superstrong klicking signal. I just
did read, this fellow has been on low power...! Sorry for asking all the time,
even the big guns could not have been copied well over a 20kHz range.
When I have almost given up to try 10m, RW1AC was persistent enough to move me.
Thanks! Did make 70 QSOs there the next hour.
20m closed early on sunday and the evening was very difficult on 80m, to get
at least a few more mults.
Could work 21 stations on 5 bands.

After 500 QTCs notebook/N1MM was letting me down by hanging after a few sended
QTCs. Finaly I did unplug the CW-interface and enjoyed my keyer for the rest of
the time. Sorry to RZ4AG, LN8W and DL5KUD for the QTC-trouble. Lots of good
cw-operators are out there in EU!

Did start to late with selling my QTCs, the beginner on the DX side failed with
that, Hi.

Great contest, much fun! Thanks to everybody for calling.

73 Mike
