Comments:

Had a great time in this one. 20M propagation was really poor to South America,
but there was enough activity to keep it interesting anyway.

Was terrific to see 15M open to SA for more than a few minutes from British
Columbia. Not much heard for many months on that band -- had forgotten how nice
it is. Didn't hear a peep on 10M, though it appears there was good N-S prop for
those out east.

My biggest surprise was how well the new 40M half-square played into South
America on Saturday evening. No barn-burner as its slightly south-of-east
orientation doesn't quite point southward enough from here, but still great fun
-- NA activity was quite strong on 40M as well. I can hardly wait to see how
conditions are for WPX CW next weekend.

Looked like lots more NA participation in this second year with the new rules.
Thanks JF gang -- great move. The organizers did a super job again this year
promoting the contest by e-mail and with a very nice mailed booklet with 2007
rules and 2006 results.
