Comments:

I started this one after a day of tower work and digging a grave up at our cabin
to bury our Golden Retriever, Brie, who died Monday. My brain was slightly fried
and I had trouble getting my computer and radio to talk to each other with
WriteLog. After a while I gave up and used an old DOS version of NA that I have
on the computer. Unfortunately I didn't have the manual at the cabin and
couldn't remember how to change the CW messages from the dafaults, so I did a
lot of hand keying. Sorry for the glitches and wrong button pushes. Of course
Sunday morning after a good night of sleep I had no trouble getting WriteLog to
work, never did figure out exactly what I was doing wrong.

Brie was a real good radio dog. She spent many weekends at the cabin contesting
with me, and accompanied me on several of my WI QSO party mobile forrays, and
went a couple of times to Michigan's UP for the MIQP mobile. That's the story
of the unusual name. I know it costs me some QSOs with the repeats, but so be
it.

Lots of good activity, and strong signals on all bands. Heard 3 mults I didn't
work, IA, NC and VE1. As usual, my hours were all over the place, with a low of
47 (2nd), and a high of 74 (last). If I do this for another 50 years maybe I'll
get more consistent.

Thanks all for the Qs, I love this contest.

Jim
