Comments:

First contest with a beam instead of my vertical.  It seemed to help quite a bit
as I didn't feel like I had the weakest signal on the band.  It was nice not to
have to repeat my call three or four times.  I heard one French station on
Saturday, but he faded fast and I didn't work anyone outside North and South
America.  The next step is to get the beam up higher than 25 feet.
