Comments:

First time in this contest - I think it will be one of my favorites - 
The scoring system more closely crrelates with ability. 
Finally I have a chance against the east coasters and
their eu multiplier advantage. 

Unfortunatley my in line antenna tuning capacitor failed 
with 4 hours to go, so I probably missed the best times
to work all the USA stations as the grey line crossed the US;
and I also missed the dawn peak opening to the west - but at least
I snagged a few JA's in the late morning as the contest began here. Highest 
point qso from here was a CE for 20 points!
