Comments:

Conditions were strange here tonight.  Didn't hear anything on 20--not even PSK
signals on .070.  If 20 is open, there is always someone there.

Kept getting beat out on 40.  Most of the signals here were barley wiggling the
S-meter. Went to 80 way earlier than usual.

Seems like 80 was the best band and could work down into the south pretty
easily.  Missed John, K4BAI on 80 for the first time ever I think.  I called
K0XP a couple of times, but never got him.  He was loud into Oregon.  He called
me once, but when I sent my exchange, he never came back to  me.  I guess you
were calling me, Steve??

Congrats to N6RO for a HUGE score this week.

Anyway, look forward to the real thing starting up.  Hope conditions are a
little better next week.  73
