Comments:

This year was a limited effort for me. I checked 40 and 80 about 0600z and found
some stateside stations still active. There was a nice JA opening on 20m with
strong signals. I worked 6 of the 10 districts. No VK's heard in my short time
on the air but did QSO with CN8KD, SV1DPP, ZS2EZ, ZC4LI, ZM2A, and a few
European stations.

Also, I was connected to the scoreboard and enjoyed the "battle" to retain a
position in that secondary race. If you haven't logged on and used this tool,
give it a try. It was the catalyst that put me back on the air for 30 minutes
before I had to QRT for the night.
