Comments:

Last week I dug out the old KLM 6m beam, cleaned it up and reassembled it.  With
no tower up, I propped it on a stepladder behind the shack and pointed it east. 
It was (just) enough to take part in the great Sunday sfternoon openings to the
Pacific Northwest and the Southeast.  The activity level was so high that
CQ'ing was effective as far up the band as 50.225, and there were even pile-ups
in the CW segment!  Now that's the way to spend Fathers' Day!  Thanks to all for
