        Soapbox : Our new student hams learned about propagation this weekend.
On Saturday, we kept one station patrolling 10M while some had fun working guys
on 20 and 15 SSB, and others built antennas.  Sunday was better, and I hope they
logged everyone!  There was sometimes a disconnect between the operator, the
phonetics decoder, and the logger! They had fun with the phonetics. We have one
9th grader who is a true contester!  He can't wait until the next contest.  When
things were boring on 10M on Saturday, he looked up the other contests and
searched for the Portugese Naval Contest on 20M!  He won the DX Engineering cap
for the most deicated contester!  Now with better antennas and a little
experience, these guys and girls will be regulars!
